Located on The Bangsaen Beach, this hotel is a good choice if you are on a short business trip or vacation and if you need to be somewhere between Pattaya and Bangkok. To make it clear – hotel is in many guides are listed under Pattaya’s region but it is actually a couple of hours outside of it. The Bangsean is close to Chonburi town, center of one of the oldest and very popular seaside destinations. S.S. Bangsaen Beach Hotel thus offers a possibility of a crowd-escape and less noisy place to stay, which you will need in order to be able to unwind from a long day or the bustling and hectic nightlife that make Pattaya unique and famous.
The hotel itself is located just opposite from the beach and close to several restaurants. It has nice and calming view of the seaside. Proximity of the beach is maybe a reason why you shouldn’t look for a swimming pool in the hotel – it doesn’t have it. The hotel’s restaurant serves “selected food”, as they advertise, and even though you can’t find everything on the menu it’s sure you will have your food served with a special touch.
The numerous rooms are spread on three levels but the hotel still doesn’t have an elevator, which could be challenging if you have a small kid with you (and stroller), or you have some walking problems. Rooms are nice and simple, with basic necessities. There are spacious and nicely equipped banquet and conference rooms that can accommodate up to 80 people. Golf courses are available nearby as well and pick-up service is available only upon request.
