When staying in Pattaya its always a good idea to book a hotel thatÂhas aÂgirl friendly policy. But for only 700THB including free breakfast who can really complain. If you want some place a bit nicer than check out Diamond City Place. 800THB will land you a decent sized room and a pool. Of course breakfast is included too. Its a bit further away but not really by much. So this is a good option if you want a little more peace and quiet. Next is one of my favorite girl friendly hotel in Pattaya. The Sunshine Hotel amp; Residence for 900THB is worth every penny. Their standard rooms are clean but a bit small. However there are 2 swimming pools for guest use and free breakfast. Need I say more? Of all the hotels I recommend to people, Sunshine is the only one they always go back to. Finally theres one girl friendly hotel really worth mentioning and its called Areca Lodge. Their room rates start at 1250THB and really well worth it. The entire hotel is well maintained and there are facilities such as a nice swimming pool. Since its located on Soi Diana,Âyoure in stumbling distance toÂsome very popular go go bars.ÂIf you can afford to spend a bit more then this is a goodÂhotel to do so.br

If there is one game that Pattaya bar girls like to play, its Connect Four. Thats right; Im talking about that silly game that most of us played as children. Connect Four is widely used in Pattaya bars as a means to communicate across the cultural divide that exists between Western men and Pattaya girls.

In case youve forgotten, the game is kind of like a three dimensional version of tic-tac-toe. Its played on a vertical board that is seven spaces across and six spaces high. Players use men that are similar to checkers. The men are colored red and black and each player starts with 21 men.

The board is similar to a cage. Players alternate dropping their men, one by one, though slots in the top of the cage. The object of the game is to be the first player to get four men placed in a row. The four-in-a-row can be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal.

There is hardly a bar in Pattaya, Thailand that doesnt have this game available. Ive seen it in every bar I ever visited in this part of the country. Its popular because it allows the girls to communicate with customers in spite of the language barrier.

You see, Western men flock to Pattaya because of its reputation as a destination for sex tourism. Most of the boys who arrive in town, however, dont speak a bit of Thai and the bar girls that they seek dont speak English. Thats where Connect Four comes into play.

Somewhere along the line, an enterprising bar owner introduced this game and it has become a Pattaya institution ever since. The couples that you see playing are smiling, laughing, drinking, and having a great time together in spite of the fact that they dont speak the same language. Connect Four is their common language.

Some of the girls in Pattaya have become quite skilled at the game. I never realized how technical the game really was until I performed a search on Google. There are strategies that are quite complex and at least one mathematician has written his entire masters thesis about the game. One friend of mine who lives full time in Pattaya swears that its an erotic game as well. He claims to have been smitten by a beautiful Pattaya girl with eyes as deep and beautiful as a crystal ball. This girl has devised a variation of the game whereby youre not allowed to look at the board as you play.

According to her rules, each player may only look into the eyes of the other player as their tokens are put into play. You must guess the position of the tokens by the look in your opponents eyes.
